Jesus didn't have to come to earth to accomplish what he did through his death on a cross and his resurrection from the dead. He was GOD; the creator on everything here and in heaven. With a word, he could have spoken our redemption into existence. Instead, though, our Savior chose to leave heaven to come and live like us. He did this to show us that he understood the difficulties we go through; and most importantly, that we can rise like him from whatever death we're living in today.
